Hi Fussel and Hulbi Lorm!

As far as I remember, last year the cameras were turned on in the first week of April, and I would expect it for this year too.
But we can "see" our birds a little earlier when they reach areas with a good GSM connection. I've "learned" that the spring migration usually does not take as long as the fall migration.

Thanks Francesca,

so there's still some time to go. But now we can measure it in weeks instead of months.

Hello everybody! :hi:

Today, 1.2.23, there are no data for WABA, maybe s/he is on an excursion again.

The last data point from yesterday shows Waba between Degheim and New Halfa probably foraging.

31.1. at about 11:00 UTC

If the Udu hasn't continued flying, it should be OK.

Hi Bea, juta and all others :hi:,

looks like the calm before the storm - Waba has found his / her place to stay, and all the others are quiet for the moment.

I dearly hope they're all well, and I can't wait for news from all of them.

Have a nice weekend!

Hi Hulbi Lorm :hi:

Yes, time flies, but currently I still don´t want to think about the times ahead of us, about the routes that will be taken home and the difficult areas our birds will have to cross and stop for resting times ..... places shaken by war or earthquakes ....
Not to talk of all the desparate residents there ....
