18:25:45 mating.. they are running hot

18:25:54 male comes to the nest tree



18:29:03 he flew away and starts hooting
18:33 he is still hooting

18:39 Male starts hooting again

Maybe there was more. I really hope that they will use this nest.

3:16 male is calling in distance
there are many gaps in the stream...

I think we have to wait for the afternoon

Male just landed on back branch at the right. By the look of his throat he's calling.

Now silent anyway.

He's turned around, scratched, looks around.
The nestbox looks dry and nice inside.

Male's still sitting at the same place, almost motionless. Only his head moves every now and then while checking out the surroundings.

Suddenly male starts hooting and starts to move.
Jumps from branch to nestbox and keeps on hooting.

Jumps to front branch, hoots 1 more time.


And leaves at 15.15

And now the footage is in a loop again from 15.22 on.
But this visit by male was a treat and appreciated.
