Both parents did great job with feeding thanks to fish basket. Was it first time to swallow whole frogs for 1 and 2? Im not sure but i think 3 got also frog 19.36.30

The chicks got frogs for the first time today, as far as I can remember the last few days.
I can't even remember spontaneously which chick ate what today. It was so much that I could hardly keep up.


We can see that the little ones need it. The crop is empty again very quickly and we know nests where the chicks never stop asking for food.
It's nice to see a nest like it should be for black storks.

Only one porridge today!
There were many good feedings and the chicks ate as it suited them. Also #4 came off a good amount of food altogether.

Kaia did the same thing for one of the chicks yesterday afternoon. I made a comment on the live stream and i believe Eagle Goddess made a YT video on it yesterday. But one of the older chicks was almost choking on a frog yesterday and Kaia pulled it out of its throat. It was almost in serious trouble. Glad both parents were there when it happened and all turned out ok. Thanks

Karl II brings fish. This is a good breakfast! All the chicks try to eat.
But not every chick succeeds. They are bigger fish.
Karl II must soften the fish.

But something eats every chick. It is not much.

I don't know what that is. But the older chicks don't seem to want to eat it.
