Osprey Vilja

Information by Aigars Kalvans:
The female of Osprey Vija lives near Vijciems at northern Latvia. In 2019 she has three chicks, in nest. Vija was caught and tagged with GSM GPS transmitter Ornitela on July, 12. Osprey female started her migration flight on 26th of August

Vija (25.08.) - 24 km - Brenguļi, Valmiera, Latvia

There is an explanation on the map;
The last location we have for Vija, probably malfunction of transmitter.

:hi: sova, oh, what a pity, Vija has such a special western migration route to Mauritania (and she visits you on her journey) :sad:

now we no longer have ospreys on the map.....no ospreys, no cranes.....a lot changes (no comment)
