6:24:18 two birds flew from right near the kingfisher to our tree.
then a jay sang nearby...
6:25:30 finally a jay showed himself on the left branch, then went upstairs to the top and sang more. there were more voices than just one jay.
6:25:50 2 birds flew away to the right, then 2 more! there were 4 jays.

7:11:about35 several swans flew over the meadow. 5 swans. they had to be young, non-breeding swans.
a little earlier a wood pigeon had flown to the spruce on the right.
Image

after the swans had flown by another wood pigeon flew to the spruce and began to sing to the first. after listening to the song for a while the first pigeon flew away.
7:18 the second pigeon flew away, too.

edit: it turned out later that the swans had flown away from the lake. they weren't seen or heard after this at all for many days.

Zorro is a great builder, the nest will be well prepared for next season. It's a shame they won't be able to make it with Milda this year.... hopefully next year will be more successful here.

5:05 (almost) he brought a thin twig. he jumped to the left branch. then he flew out.
this time he stayed only 32 s.

i found no calls in the morning. i got the feeling that Milda was somewhere else. the same feeling i have had in a few previous mornings, too.
