Waba has seen enough in the Finnish-Russian border area and is on the move again. Where will the journey lead now?

Spring migration 2024 on Birdmap shows routes and distances flown as of February 15

New data: 10.06.2024; Distance: 9699 km (+189 km); Waba sent data near Lekhtusi, Russia
Previous data: 09.06.2024; Distance: 9510 km (+159 km in 7 days); Waba sent data near Dymovo, Russia, near the Finnish border

Waba seems en route to return to the Baltic states. Today will mark an incredible milestone: Since the start of the migration, Waba is almost certain to complete 10,000 total kilometers. Incredible!

Since Waba has found a new spot for a longer stay, there are currently no further Birdmap updates. I will of course update when the next major change of location takes place.
