11:31 some gusts of wind are very hard. Milda almost has to kneel lower.

then she stood there and looked in the sky. i have no idea what she saw. they always seem to have something interesting to look at.

12:43 Zorro sat the nest for a while.
12:44 he flew out.
Zoja Aleksandroviča wrote in the YT chat: "12.44. skan ērgļu balsis."
= eagles' calls.
i heard a male calling and i think i perhaps also a female. she was farther.

13:35 Zorro got up and flew out over the meadow to the opposite side of the meadow and turned right. then he flew higher above to tree tops and flew to the left high in the sky.

this is one thing that Sonchik taught me: one should always wathc a bit longer after you think that the eagles flew away. there may still be something more to see. the same thing applies to the arrivals: the eagles may be seen flying somewhere far before they land on the nest.
now that i have doubled the data rate in my recording to 8Mbit/s i can see more, and with the new camera even more.

i made a close-up clip of Zorro flying away (although i know that Liz is much more clever than i in making zoom-videos).

Milda is incubating her imaginary eggs.

the lake is slowly becoming visible as tree drop more and more leaves.
it seems that probably even Observation Oak 1 is near the waterline. if it is not under water yet it soon will be...
