7:09 a tawny owl called very far. i think it was a male.
7:12 again.

7:14 splashing water. someone must have crossed the stream downstairs. then the tawny owl called again.
7:16 more owl's calls.

8:27 Zorro brought a spruce twig.


he looked around... listened.
8:28 he rubbed his bottom against the nest. then he worked a little.

12:11 a jay was visible behind the kingfisher.


Liz, i understand quite well the early morning situation. my brain is ½-functional in the early mornings. actually in good mornings they are ½-functional. normally they aren't even that good.

13:47 the workers with chainsaws finished their work.

15:47 Zorro flew home over the meadow with a bunch of hay.
15:49 he jumped to the left branch with some hay entangled in his toes, then to the outer left branch. there he turned around.
15:50 he jumped back to the nest with the hay in his beak!

15:51 Zorro flew away.

It's quicker for me to make a GIF than to look for a suitable picture. You can show better with a GIF what is meant. and! my laziness forces me to work effectively
Unfortunately it is limited to about 12 seconds.

splashing water can be heard. and there is already a bright strip on the left. Apparently we are getting eagle weather
