October 20th
Female Mona is still in a (quiet) mood.
No heated, urgent calls were heard before Mona hatches into the nest.
She lands in the nest with gentle, benevolent sounds.
Lays twigs, digs... she takes care of her nest.
As she leaves the nest, a branch cracks and she squeaks.
The females sometimes find it difficult to be quiet.
It is reassuring to see Mona in
this nest and not in the eagle's nest.
