Silent, no wind or light wind
4:08 lekking on tree probably
4:14 local male flies on ground, distant voices also, had to restart cam
4:18 cam is back, male voices in distance
4:29 male moves behind the cam tree
4:34 local male visible again in left edge, but not for long
4:37 switching to the day light
4:42 appears in right edge
4:51 behind the tree, and to the left edge, quite inactive there
5:08 mating
5:10 female flew up to the tree
5:15 flight (of female?) heard, male becomes active
5:20 more males to be heard, probably they are behind the cam tree. Maybe like the solar panels there...
Next hour here and there behind the tree, also distant male(s) heard, but not seen
6:34 I finished, change of operator
7:38 log truck in distance, loading of logs to be heard up to around 8 AM
8:03 departure of truck

Think there are different females. Those who visited lekking site earlier, they are incubating somewhere already. Late ones can be failed with early clutch or simply flegmatic.

ok, Thanks.
So you would think that this female is not on eggs yet?
It would be nice if the camera could capture a nest, but they are so hard to find.

8 May
It was rainy night, but first male voices before 3 AM.
Soon after first voices continuous talk of local male follows, supported by Ural Owl calls.
Since 4:40 that monologue of Capercaillie slows down. Not sure, but maybe that males was always on tree.
6:08 some flight noise (of Cc?). Wind is getting stronger.
