4:43 female landed in right, male run out of view there
4:52 action behind cam tree, male run further
5:00 male returns, lekking in front of cam view
5:37 behind the cam tree from further left
5:59 returning from behind the tree, to the front of cam
6:24 two males arguing, move further, disappear in bushes
6:41 one male returns from bushes , eating pine needles
6:50 and further some closer views saved by fleur

Distant voices before 4 AM
4:00 local male starts lekking
Visible since 5:01
5:28 stock dove voice, local male keeps behind cam tree. Distant voices of neighbor individual(s?)

Today it was pretty good, unlike yesterday when there was almost no activity.

I've seen only one male bird, who did some displaying and appeared to be charging at something, at times - maybe another rooster Cc?

They can be super temperamental during the breeding season, even attacking humans, who they usually avoid at all costs outside of the courtship season.

This is the only time one can expect success in viewing them, or at least the best time. :)

Unfortunately at around 07:02 AM this morning the camera stopped but hopefully will be restarted soon.

Will try to wake up a bit earlier tomorrow - maybe at 05:15? I am not too good at waking up so early, but will try to. :)

before 3:50 Boreal Owl distant calls
3:51 Ural Owl calls and Cc starts in distance
Local male starts after 4AM and seems to make voice on tree
5:03 local male Cc flew from tree
5:06 female arrived, local male running, some action followed
5:29 restarted the camera for next operator
5:30 online again

4:50 camera needs to restart
4:53 local male walks to the scene, from behind the camera tree
More males to be heard in distance
up to 6 AM almost all time local Cc male on scene. I will go out.

slightly windy
4:50 local male on ground, restart for camera
5:10 more wind and snowing for short, male Cc voice out of view
5:17 male in left edge
5:26 jumps and more flight right, local male runs there, can't spot it
5:27 local male returns
5:55 some flight further to be heard, local male agitated a bit, but stays in place. Neighbours noise is disturbing, but he got used in those. Seems not much interesting happens around...
6:02 some feeding and short walk
Have to restart cam, it becomes slow to respond commands
6:17 it is back online, local male lekking in left edge of cam view, I will leave cam for today.
