Rita, once the situation is over, you will be a very creative cook before the Lord. :)
Asteria, delivery service is almost impossible here = even prohibited. The kitchens are simply closed.

Biker, can you say what is happening in daily life for you?
Here, nursing homes are not doing too well.

Jo, for example in Wolfsburg there were many deaths in a nursing home. Our weakest were hit hard. Biker may tell. Maybe something completely different.

Riding a bike is not allowed? But one has to go out for food and medicines. To take exercise once daily.

Does anyone here feel that they may have had this illness, or one very much like it, in recent months?
Of course, we are told that it did not exist until December 2019. That simply means that the authorities did not know about it.
I am asking because I have heard from a few friends and acqaintances, that they believe they had a similar illlness last year.

Only after taking Covid antibody tests it will be clear who was ill and got recovered from it. I think there must be pretty many people who had no or very weak symptoms of it. They were contagious but simply did not know they might be ill.

While asteria's comment refers to the future, I repeat my question - is there anyone who feels they had an illness similar to this coronavirus, in the past year or so?

The virus can be transmitted from humans to cats and feline species.

The virus has been around since 2013. The Robert Koch Institute has pointed out what can happen.Jo UK wrote: ↑April 5th, 2020, 5:46 pm Does anyone here feel that they may have had this illness, or one very much like it, in recent months?

There has been an extensive study and suggestions on what to do to prevent disaster. Our government ignored it.

There will always be something. What is important is what we make of it and what we learn. This is the only way we can become strong for everything that lies ahead. We have to stop believing everything and "find back".

the borders of the province Uusimaa around Finland's capital Helsinki were reopend yesterday.
https://www.foreigner.fi/articulo/coron ... 05322.html
in the view of the Finnish health authorities the epidemic has already spread around Finland in such a way that the closure of Uusimaa does not essentially help to block the spreading any more. therefore the government saw that the grounds for limiting the people's constitutional right to travel were not valid any more and there was no other choice but to open the borders. the government does, however, strongly urge people to restrain from all unnecessary travel for example to their summerhouses. also gatherings to celebrate the First of May are recommended to take place only virtually, on-line, not by getting together physically.
during Easter time teenagers with mopeds and other slightly older people with cars gathered in flocks in several cities and towns in Finland. the police were busy in shepherding them into smaller groups and to their homes. these restraints of gatherings are getting on the nerves of teens.

Thanks, ame. We all have so much in common, in these uncommon times.

in the beginning of the restrictions people over 70 were told to stay at home. after that there were a lot of complaints by their children in their 40's and 50's that their parents were disobedient and more difficult to shepherd than their children were.
