I looked into the nest after work and saw her sitting ... buttocks up and tail feathers fluffed and thought: will we get an egg today? It was already there. :rotf:
Awesome, so beautiful !!!! :loveshower:

I remember last year when I saw him reject their affection and today ... hopefully they will have a successful brood.

Congratulations to everyone on the long-awaited egg!
Does anyone know which bird was interfering with Spilve?

I have a long video. Starts when Spilve got up and ends when she lay down.

I heard courtship Starlings all the time and a woodpecker was knocking.
The starlings were on the nest tree, at least that was how it sounded.

Hello to all! :hi:

8.24 Virsis flew into a nest with a large pine branch, Spilve turned the egg and sat down again to incubate. She makes a very interesting sound when Virsis arrives!

Great moment!
Thankfully he has a lot of experience laying on a nest

:D

He doesn't get up immediately when Spilve comes back, not surprisingly.
She gives him a gentle bite in the neck.
