2021.11.12 - Community support for these Ospreys has been amazing. Unfortunately after my earlier post we have some very sad news. Richard Hobbs was kind enough to go and look for Solly. He found her at the base of a power pole. Richard is helping us arrange to have her body sent to Adelaide so that an autopsy can be done. Solly has taught us so much and given us so much pleasure in her short life. This is just heart breaking news.

In fact, since the two chicks started flying, their fights have remained very aggressive, it's too crazy for me
17.09 Falky tries to push Ervie off the nest but ended off the nest himself

17.16 Falky and Bazza quarrel

Simoninna many thanks for reporting, pics and videos. :2thumbsup:

Yes, it's also surprising for me. 19:33-19:36 was also a fight. Although they need also aggression for their characters.
Maybe it is a part from development to their independence.

19:33
At first Mom lands, kids lay down peaceful before. Most likely they thought Mom comes with fish, but her talons were empty. Maybe that's the reason for starting aggression.
Ervie on sibling, he is getting very strong our little one.
Image

Then Ervie and Falky.

Edit: Just I saw you have documented it already. :D
