Some deer were eating on the field in the back in the morning, the last ones went through the ditch into the forest on the left at 7:51 I think.

17 stags visited this night.

10:07 The camera stops.

The news reported about the end of the season today, here's the text version and video: https://www.err.ee/1608948880/rmk-lopet ... -naitusega

A radio show also aired a part of the interview with Tiit Hunt: https://vikerraadio.err.ee/1608934175/paevakaja (it starts after 18 minutes)

In the radio show Tiit also mentioned the vegan fox who eats 4-5 carrots per visit. And that when their eyes meet the stags get anxious and suddenly move, and that's how the carrot box fell over last season and an antler fell off this season. They are also considering starting next season a bit earlier so we might be able to see the rut. :D

When the camera had already stopped I decided to record one last video, and I finally edited it now (removed a few boring parts to make it shorter):

So, here's some statistic about this season.

The camera worked for 168 nights from October 2022 to April 2023. On average 16.6 deer visited per night. In October the average was 9.7 (for 7 nights), November 14.3 (29 nights), December 13.4 (29 nights), January 16.6 (31 nights), February 18.5 (28 nights), March 20.3 (31 nights), and April 19.5 (13 nights).

At least 90 deer visited the feeding ground this season (maybe up to 100), among them about 70 stags. And more specifically 48 stags over the age of 2 visited, although 12 of them only appeared once. I listed another 23 stags with stick antlers (1-year-olds), but it's possible I counted some of them twice if I couldn't see their antlers well. 12 of them visited at least twice.

28 deer visited the feeding ground at least 20 times, and another 36 at least twice.

Here are the most popular visitors:

1. Rasmus Hubert II 163x
2. Roland 162x
3. Evert 159x
4. Troy 155x
5. Ford 154x
6. Timothy 153x
7. Travis 142x
8. Forest 138x
9. Sander 133x
10. Trevor 114x
11. Karl 112x
12. Daniel 104x
13. Tristan 91x
14. Norman 88x
15. Gunnar 80x
16. Elias 79x
17. Julius 70x
18. Nilson 69x
19. Mark 47x
20. Jesper 45x
20. Monica’s calf 45x
22. Monica 39x
22. Nicole 39x
24. Andy 29x
25. Ervin 28x
26. Fiona’s calf 25x
27. Homer 20x
27. Olivia 20x

Rasmus Hubert II and Roland are the winners! :2thumbsup:

Image

And like last season I also made a list of the deer who arrived first most often:

1. Troy 39x
2. Timothy 32x
3. Ford 19x
4. Evert 15x
5. Tristan 13x
6. Trevor 9x
6. Monica’s calf 9x
8. Gunnar 8x
9. Roland 6x
10. Jesper 4x
10. Fiona’s calf 4x

Troy beat Timothy who was #1 last season, but Timothy also performed well!
