good morning!
it seems that Jānis and Māris were working with the solar panels already in daylight time yesterday.
... or was it Father Christmas with Jānis?
see the 3rd picture.
https://forums.dabasdati.lv/viewtopic.p ... 36#p309036
i happened to notice their lights when they were leaving.
edit: i got mail from Jānis.
"... Yesterday we rebuilt the solar panel system at Durbe nest – beaver has raised the water table by ca one meter there and panels were submerged in the water. Now it is sorted out, see some pictures here: (see the link above)
Best wishes for the coming New year!
Jānis"

13:54 Mr L flew away.
by the way: i have updated the list of important events on the first page.
i'd appreciate if someone would check if i have forgotten something.

15:06 Mr L jumped back to the nest and began shovelling. he wants to find his leg.
15:07 back to the top branch.
15:09:34 he flew out and curved to the right.
perhaps he didn't fly far.

his search is again unsuccessful. He must be pretty hungry. I hope he can find something to eat.

good morning!
thank you Liz for the reports!
handbyl
the visit by Mr L.
- i think he came to the conclusion that it's better to land on the nest on it's level, and not to jump down from the top. in that case he would probably have sunk to the bottom.
