good heavens, a spider! :slap:

the weather data says that it's -1 degrees there, but the wind makes it feel like -8.
no wonder that the spider walked v e r y ... s l o w l y.

13:00 the wind blew a chunk of snow away from the left side of the nest.

13:42 the spider was waving her legs on the left again.
13:44 again.

13:55 again.
13:59 again. this time the spider stopped in the top left corner.
14:08 the spider disappeared.
14:09 the spider walked down.

i wonder if the camera warms up a little when it's on. :puzzled:

There is more snow on nest :D If an eagle lands there, it will sink into the snow :shake:

Vērotāja made a comparison. Mr L in the middle of the nest and the nest with snow. He would sink up to his shoulders in the snow

pay attention to the lower left branch!

11:54:14 a great tit visited the back rim of the cream cake. before that she talked under/behind the nest. - i think it was a girl, she seemed to have a narrow tie.

14:00 a jay from the left branch to the top branch. then another to the left branch.
both went to the top.
14:01 one jay to the left branch. then to the top.
14:01:55 one jay flew away. the other stayed on the top and dropped snow and rustled softly...

14:05 the jay is again there, came down from the top, this time on the poop branch.
maybe he/she is wondering how to get the acorns that he hid here earlier in the autumn. he/she will need a shovel to get to them.Image
the jay jumped back to the top. then flew away over the meadow in the same direction as the first jay.

Good Morning ame, Abigyl and everyone :hi:

ame, thanks for videos and reporting :2thumbsup:

it looks cold :shake:

Yesterday I found a dead deer. it looked unharmed, so I didn't dare touch it.. Since it was in the ditch next to the road, I think it was a roadkill.
I notified a hunter, at minus 8 degrees a long distance by bike through the forest d to his house (and also a white-tailed eagle protector). He told me that there is a winter feeding place for eagles and that the deer is intended as food for the eagles. That's great! :2thumbsup: I don't like hunters! But he and his brother are hunters who I can accept well. We have an agreement. I report dead animals when they are small enough I'll take them to the hunter's home right away.
