Yes, it is scary to watch Stefan climbing to the nests, it is incredible which places Eagle Owls chose to lay eggs, breed and
raise their owlets
For Eagle Owls´ opinions these are 'safe' places
Stefan says in the film, that he is always at the end of his physical energy after ringing time, but that his soul is filled with all the litte owlet faces he has seen.

Thank you very much, Bea .
Yes, it is very scary to watch Stefan climbing. For me especially, I am not free from vertigo .

IceAge, you´re welcome!
I neither can imagine doing something like that
Not even climbing this silo in the quarry (despite there is a small stairs ....) and then walking along this narrow grating to get to the Eagle Owls´ nesting spot ... I wonder how they can choose such a place to breed, with all the noise and trucks driving under them during the working week

Hi romy
It´s a little miracle that the cam could already be re-started, I was in doubt whether it would be possible before the new breeding season begins.
Let´s hope that we will see our couple soon and that they are well.
New topic for 2022 is ready, hope to see you all there
