The last moments before Karl II left his nest. Maybe this were also the last moments for this year.
Hope, we will see him and his lady strong and healthy again next spring.

Good evening everybody :hi:

Anne ... thank you so much for all of the info about BS

Waw ... Udu is a curious aviator :D
The Tuul sender is only charged 17%, that could really be the reason that you have no data on the other hand .... these 17% should be enough to send data. Above all, where is it flying that the transmitter has not yet been able to charge?
I am happy that Pikne found the * right way *.
I really hope that everything is OK with Tuul!

We share the same thoughts.
(We have had rain in those days and not too much sun, maybe that's why the sender is not well charged?)

I think we all should know:
from the YT chat:
@Lenka Horska:
Thanks for a successful season Karl& Kaia💞,Swenja,Anne,Tatiana, balistar,Heloise, Urmas and his team💐

@Lenka Horska, you´re welcome!

I hope our young storks continue to fly in the right direction, especially our little Tuul.
Have a nice evening!

The bad weather of the last 3-4 days leads me to assume that the young black stork in north finland was probably that far north if he was actually supposed to come from Estonia. Of course, there can be hundreds of other reasons.
Who knows what influences the fact that the orientation of the young black storks is disturbed. Udu's trip also seems a bit chaotic to me. I hope Tuul is okay.
There are hundreds of reasons ...

It was a really wonderful season. Maybe Karl II will come over again?

Many thanks to everyone!

In 2008 an Estonian tagged storklet also flew in Finland(unfortunately it was killed by some predators). Neli in 2011 first flew in Finland but then moved to the South.

Hello, everyone!

Wonderful news again!
PIKNE is already in northern Ukraine.

What a storklet! Pikne is a rocket.

And there are tracker maps!

The '2021 autumn migration' in the 'Following Karls Families' topic starts here:

Enjoy!

Asteria, thank you, I have corrected the time of Karl II's departure!

Hello!
Anne7, thanks a lot!

Ah, Karl II left... then there is no hope that he will leave his feather in Karula's nest!
(Or he did it and I didn't notice...)
Karl II is smart. He does not fly into the ordinary forest, but to a national park! :shake:

Udu... s/he is a "fog" - flies in a different direction every day 8-)
Now I wish them all a safe journey (unfortunately we don't have Kaia's data)!
I hope for the best news about Tuul as well!
Fingers crossed!

Uncle Eedi may really come to visit once, although only Urmas knows if Eedi is still here or has already left...

Good evening, everyone.
Is it possible to get information about our neighbor Eddie?
Did he have a family this year, chicks? :puzzled:
Has he started the migration? :puzzled:
We are watching him on the map as well as Karl II...
