good morning!
7:08:23 the camera woke up. that was 25 s earlier than yesterday. yesterday the camera also worked 33 s later than the day before. spring is coming.
it's a grey morning so it's not much lighter though. the crow(s) stayed out of sight.

16:26 footsteps... rather loud so probably the walker (whoever it is) is too near to the nest tree to be seen.

good morning Liz!
7:42 some cracks in the forest... someone is there.
7:49 - 7:52 loud footsteps and cracking.
then quiet for a short while but then more noise. that went on till about 8:10 with some short breaks.
the animal(s) didn't make voices to identify themselves, but the cracking and banging sounded like antlers hitting against each other. i think that there were (red) deer fighting.
i made a sample of the sounds.

9:12 a fox was barking nearby.
it's not yet the time of the fox wedding. that will be later in the spring. their pups are born in May-June and they carry 49 - 55 days so their wedding is in April (the first half).

13:41:45 three animals ran by in a row from left to right. wild boar probably.
13:46:44 an animal ran by. a dog?? this animal ran from left to right, too, but not along the same route as the three. this crossed their path at nearly right angles and continued more to the south.
the men are near, too. ... then farther. some of them went by but some are still close.
13:53:53 footsteps again. ... more shouting.

... in my recording the camera started at 7:08:56, slightly earlier than yesterday. yesterday it started later than on Christmas day. the close-up time is also teetering back and forth.
it's very windy.
