Hi everyone, I can confirm that Helju landed on the curved branch about 3:59 p.m. She sat there until about 4:08 p.m. Poor Margit, she really wanted to get up on mom's branch. I took a number of screenshots, but I'm not able to put them in here now.

Thank you for the screenshots, Liz. That first visit is absolutely Kalju. In all three screenshots. Aside from size, and general structure, their faces look very different to my eye. Helju has such a large, feminine beak, for one. Did anyone grab a screenshot of the prey, by chance? Even a blurry one. The camera stream won't let me go back this morning, and unfortunately it did not record elsewhere. I can say that I was able to check all the hours that Helju was gone prior to today, and unless she slipped in and out in a literal minute that I skipped, without disturbing anything in the nest, she was definitely away from the camera for three solid days.

Glad Margit got something in her belly today. I read mention in chat that the legs may have been different between timestamps. That there may have been two prey items. I wonder at their sizes. Did anyone get an image of her crop after feeding? Oh gremlins of technology, the fiends!

Unknown what it was Margit alerted on in this series. Didn't hear anything that might have caught her attention, other than perhaps a chattering passerine.
