19:28, Poor quality picture, but Guste is balancing well on a branch and preening.

The nest is now littered with fallen-out "baby down" feathers as her adult plumage comes in more.
She just jumped from a branch on right of screen to one further right & off-camera. Perhaps she will spend the night there?

Hello Tahidor. Nice picture and being a fossilcollector myself I can relate to the picture, bùt...the exact way how dinosaurs looked is not known. From most extinct animals only the bones remained. There is a theory however that our present birds dó descent from the dinosaurs. So, who knows....?!

Guste is begging for food. Last 3 visits at the nest Mom only brought twigs. Mom's on the branch at the right.

That's better! Dad brought a weasel, I think (something marterlike, anyway).

She is hopping off and on the branches as if she never did otherwise. Does anybody know if she is actually flying already? This afternoon when Mom was at the nest and calling for her, it sounded as if wings were flapping just before Guste arrived at the nest.

Prey transfer while Guste is still at the branch. It was a frog.

Perhaps flapping to more & more branches, but I don't think truly flying yet. Wouldn't she have a week or so of branch-hopping practice before first flight? She is hopping off and on the branches as if she never did otherwise. 8:25-- Guste was in nest earlier today, grooming her feathers. Now even more baby down fills the nest. A little later, she sat on the left side branch, continued her preening. Now when I come back, she is nowhere to be seen, but I just saw several bits of white fluffy down fall from above, so I think she is on a branch higher above the nest! The down drifted down like snow.
Edit: 9:48-- Guste is in nest eating a prey, I think a mole or weasel of some kind. I was away from the cam so did not see her come back into the nest or who brought the prey.
Edit: 10:12-- She finished eating & jumped to several branches on left. someone is controlling the camera & followed her progress after pulling back from the closeup view, so we can see the branches she has available. I made pictures but it will take time to finish processing them before I can post.

New Views:
Jumping to new branches, behind leaf on left
In the nest again
And a parent brings food
Now it is very late for me, but well worth the wait to see all this. Now I am . Good night / Good day, all.

Thanks for the pictures and good night to you Kitty. Yes, it is nice to be able to see all those branches now, on which she jumps. One of the parents came to the nest with a prey just now.
And, yes, maybe the wingflapping is for keeping balance. Now we have a more overall view I see that she stays nearby.

Wow, if that was a buzzard, it was very close to the nest!

It is getting dark; so far Guste has not been back in the nest and neither have Mom or Dad. I hope it is a good sign both parents have not been there too. That could mean Guste is somewhere else and the parents know where she is.
Good evening everybody.
