Tail of the prey is long and white, with a black band at the end.
Not a Jay and not a Magpie, but that's all I know.

Maybe someone recognizes the leg and talons.

Mom jumps on the nest via her branch, only brought a twig.
Mom also is wet from rain.

She tries to feed the chicks but they run off with the prey every time.
Finally she gets it back and starts feeding.

Chicks waiting for the rain to go by... all sit very still just watching the world around them.....nice to see the differences, also at the back of their heads.
