Voldis stayed on the nest. at about 20:50 it was so dark that it was not possible to see anything. he hadn't even rolled the eggs.

March 27

Good Morning :hi:

ame, thanks :2thumbsup:

it sounds like there are small breaks in the stream..

5:25:45 geese? are calling
5:41:26 dogs are barking from far
5:49:49 a tawny owl is calling
5:51 tawny owl is calling twice
5:55:14 noise from the nest.. breaking twig :puzzled:
5:56:29 a tree creeper? is calling
and a deep quuuuuak can be heard. A woodcock (Scolopax rusticola) :puzzled:
6:03:30 swans? from very far.. there are too many breaks
6:07:39 mallard is quacking
6:08:16 it sound closer to the nest
6:16 the tree is visible
Swans? are calling from far
6:18 wood pigeon is calling
6:19 is still calling
6:23 the pigeon is still calling

6:27:27 Milda calls from not so far, Voldis answers. He is on the nest incubating. Milda is probably on the OO Tree?

6:36:10 Milda starts calling, he replies (BTW: no breaks in the stream anymore  )

6:43 snow or frost on his wings
Image

6:45 he is sitting with closed eyes

good morning!
thank you Liz!

it was windy and it rained first in the night but after 4 there was only some wind.
4:13 Voldis shook his feathers and he probably also rolled the eggs.

5:25:50 a whooper swan called.
5:29:53 -> a tawny owl male called rather near.

( - there were indeed a lot of micro breaks in the stream. i sent e-mail about the to Janis K. about them. for some reason there are more and more often these very short breaks in the night time than in the light time. it's very annoying.)
