8:58 the juvenile made noise upstairs, probably turned on the top.
Milda looked at the juvenile on the top. she wasn't happy about her but not very upset either...
9:01 the juvenile flew away.

9:07 Voldis flew in with a small stick.
9:10 Voldis jumped to the upper left branch.
9:11 Milda came down to the nest.

9:07 Voldis brings a bunch straw. EDI'T: a twig? I'm not sure
there is something in he claws, but I can't see what it is :puzzled:

Breakfast for me, then I have to apply for a new ID card. This can take a while? I dont know. German authorities are notorious for their incompetence

9:18 Voldis flew away over the meadow to the opposite side into the forest.


9:20 Voldis brought a stick. he worked for a while.
9:22 he climbed on the left rim.

10:14 a young eagle flew to the top, to visit the nice auntie and uncle. :mrgreen:
both looked up at the juvenile...
10:16 the young eagle flew away.


it's so cute that the adults don't get upset about juveniles although they would be happier without them. :rolleyes:

11:23 a nuthatch and other little birds talked nearby. they stayed out of sight.

11:31 Voldis brought hay. he dropped a cone from one of the top branches when he landed. :laugh:
he looked around... at something?
11:33 he flew out.

13:23:42 Voldis flew by from left to right behind the kingfisher. then he brought a huge log!
13:24 he lay down on the nest. comfy! :rolleyes:
he looked in the sky... he looked alert.
13:25 he got up.

13:25:50 a big bird flew high in the sky in the top left corner... flew closer...
13:26 a young eagle flew by....
and landed on one of the top branches on the right.
one of the wanne-be adopted juveniles. i wonder how many of them there are... :mrgreen:

then the juvenile flew away. the body feathers were very spotty. this was probably a 2nd winter eaglet (3CY)

that is correct: a big bird flew up there. it is not clear that it was an eagle but it could be! there seems to be a white tail on the bird.

the first bird was clearly an adult eagle.
