both sounded like breaking and dropping branches.

11:16:10 eagle's calls from far. Voldis? (a male's voice i think). ... yes, i think both called.

11:57 Voldis flew in with hay.
he lay down on the nest.


12:02 he got up and started digging the nest.

12:13 Voldis saw something in the sky...
12:14 the wanna-be daughter visited the top branch, the young eagle.
neither said anything... then young eagle flew away and Voldis jumped to the top branch.


the girl is too young to be a wanna-be girlfriend. she probably came to see if daddy has food for her.

12:26 footsteps... Voldis looked down first, to the left side. then he lost interest.
these sounded like being made by relatively short legs, maybe even many quadruplets of legs. wild boar? there were no voices.

12:33 Voldis flew away.

12.42:15 Milda and Voldis called in the forest.

13:10:45 a bang! was that again a breaking branch? what is going on there?


i think that also this was a natural sound, not a gunshot or anything else man-made.

16:50 Voldis flew home to brood again.

Voldis got up again. he has a big crop.
16:52:55 he flew out.
both eagles called nearby. - after second and third listening i think that only Milda called.

18:55 the camera went to sleep.

6:40:47 the camera woke up
7:22 I think the nest is empty . It's still dark

8:07 no signs from our eagles. I think they are still

8:16 Good Morning Voldis He came in from the left - empty handed!


he settles on the nest edge


8:17 is digging in the nest bowl and then testing the nest

8:19 he stands up turns and is now sitting on the nest edge, like a cat on the litter box


8:24 he stands up and flew to the left


8:24:55 both are singing

8:32 a nuthatch is calling

8:37 Voldis returned home

8:38 Milda came home with a green twig

8:39:50 He begun to sing .. that was it

8:40 Milda jumps on the top branch

8:41:49 Voldis flew away (too much buffering in the potplayer )

8:44:45 He returned with a branch

8:47 he hopped on the left outer branch and flew away again

i didn't find anything interesting earlier.

after a while the eagles sang in the forest. it sounded as if they were in different places.
