Red Foxes make a variety of different sounds including barks, screams, howls, squeals and ‘gekkering’. Recent studies have identified 12 different sounds produced by adults and 8 by kits. Two of the most commonly-heard calls are the ‘bark’ & ‘scream’, perhaps because these are the loudest and can be heard for some distance. Another common call is the ‘wow wow wow’ contact call, which sounds more like a bird to me than a fox! You can hear examples of a couple of these Red Fox sounds below. https://wildambience.com/wildlife-sounds/red-fox/
9:12 Voldis brought a stick. he started work.
9:13 Milda brought a stick.
they worked...
the fox is still barking.
9:16 Milda flew out. Voldis went to the top branch. the fox stopped barking.
9:17 Voldis flew out.
a great tit is singing.
9:26:24 a bird flew by. a crow.
9:26:55 a big bird landed on the top. a cone dropped from the top. did the bird only grab something and continue?
edit: the eagle stayed there. it must have been Milda.
i found something funny. usually in the day time it's impossible to see air planes but sometimes that's possible. normally we can only hear the planes.
10:50 Ryanair's Riga - Berlin flew over us.
a few years ago Air Baltic had flights from Riga to Liepāja a little before midnight in the spring. it was possible to see the plane in dark sky, reflecting sunlight from the Sun which had already set.
14:57 more fox barking, this time rau! ... rau! ... rau! ....
14:57:55 screaming! that sounded like a raccoon dog.
then the fox continued barking. she is going farther...
14:59:15 two different fox voices almost at the same time: the rau!... rau! and the wow-wow-wow!
the first fox at 14:53 called wow-wow-wow! .... wow-wow-wow! ....
the second fox called rau! ... rau! ... rau! ....
the raccoon dog's cry is something almost indescribably horrible.
16:46 Voldis with a fish!
did i hear very distant eagle's calls before he flew in?
i think there perhaps was a voice.
more calls...
16:47 Milda flew in and Voldis flew out with the fish.
16:48:46 an eagle flew by from right to left, a blonde with white tail.
16:48:52 Milda flew out.
calls from the forest...
16:49:10 again an eagle flew by, this time invisible but Voldis was calling all the way.
16:49 Voldis flew back with the fish. he called. Milda called.
