6:21:30 the camera started.
it was very windy, so that it was difficult to look for bird's calls. even if the eagles had called next to the nest it's not certain that it would have been easy to find it.

7:55 Voldis came with a green twig. he worked and lay down on the nest. then got up, lay down again. etc. he was almost like a yo-yo.

8:04 Milda brought a green twig. they worked together...

a crow called in the 'normal' voice and also the platypus called a few times.


edit: catching a crow red-handed singing "the platypus"-tune is a difficult task. the special call comes usually in a calm situation when the bird (the crow) is (probably) sitting on a tree top and singing mainly to herself.
once a crow was sitting on the top of the spruce on the right when the special call was heard. to me the crow seemed to move in the same rhythm as the calls came. unfortunately the bird is too far to be certain of the singer if she is singing there.

if the crows come as near as i'd like to see them calling the special call, i.e. on the nest, they are usually very excited and call kraa!-kraa! in their normal way. maybe on the top branch a crow might be calm enough to call the way i'd like see her to call.

8:12 Voldis took off. he flew over the meadow to the right.
Milda followed him a little later. also she flew over the meadow to the right. she flew higher above the meadow so she was visible for a longer time against the sky.


perhaps they flew to Fish Market 2 for breakfast.

13:19 Voldis flew in. he has a small stick, but he took another stick and lifted it to a new place.


then he began to look around....

13:24 Voldis flew out to the right. his crop was big.

17:00 Voldis in with nothing? yes, i think that he had nothing. he looked around...

17:03 Milda flew in over the meadow. she floated from high in the sky on the left with her landing gear hanging down.
they started work... there seems to be a new cone on the nest. .. not, it's not new. Voldis found it in the nest bowl. they had some kissy-beaky...
Milda lay down. some more kissy-beaky. she got up. amazing: Voldis did not try anything (although he perhaps looked at Milda in that way. - or he was a bit scared of her. )
then they looked around...

17:07 Milda flew out.
Voldis followed her.

17:15 Voldis flew in with a big spruce twig. he looked around...
17:17 he flew out.
Milda called a few words nearby.

17:30 Milda called. ... or both?
probably both.

17:47 more calls, probably only Milda (?)

19:20:01 camera went to sleep.
