Completely forgotten in the rush although I often touch these pictures of my calendar every day and I feel one... :innocent:

Polly :2thumbsup:

Precious and powerful goshawks, they also have their age. What a contrast to the smoothness of our H44.

The camera is already transmitting in Scotland but it is private, it is not open.

Thanks and rest. :offtobed:

March 22

Good morning together! :hi:

Team H is already in the field. With sound - without picture.

09:17 Both and crows are calling
'18 H21 to hear

09:23 Crows clatter through the tree

In this hour there are numerous, very different calls - from 'Gjak' to melodic excitement, everything is included. Mostly from H21.

09:44 mating

10:21 H21 calls
...and H44 brings a branch to the nest. :innocent:

He fiddles with other branches a bit and jumps onto the top branch.

10:23 H21 calls again
'25 'Gjak'

'26 twice 'Gjak' ...Offer?

Pairing #2!
(one can be seen flying)

10:33 The wind plays with a branch and makes you think it's newly laid. :whistling:

In fact, the couple stays close but can only be heard:
10:37, '47 H21 calling energetically
"Throw your heart across the river and swim after it."

This morning the first sounds were at 6:44:22, earlier than any day.

There is still hope even though it may not seem like it. What happens is that they have been in trouble for a long time and they have had to readapt.
We also know that this couple does not stand out for the regularity in the construction and in the previous visits to the nest but that they end up laying, caring for and taking out their chicks as all the other couples (and very well !!!).

Greetings
Polly :2thumbsup:

12:00 - 13:00 Colorful mixture of goshawk and crow.
12:01 A goshawk flutters silently up a nearby tree and then leaves it again.
Image

Very many approaches by crows to the nest tree, also a lot of movement directly in the nest tree.
It is not possible to see whether one of the couple was present, but it is conceivable.

The pair can be heard with many calls, sometimes closer sometimes further but mostly energetic.

13:00 The crows are slowly leaving - at least one of the team is staying. 13:05 call

13:15 Time for the little ones to visit the nest. :innocent:

Hello Peregrine, welcome.

This year it appears that the Scottish chamber is limited to registered members of the Association.

Some of its members usually put moments from day to day on their channels.

This couple here is lovely, they raised three chicks in their first year in 2021 and four in 2022. They get along very well with each other and we'll be so glad they do it again this year even though they haven't been around much. If all goes well in the next two or three days they will lay the first egg.

On the first page of the years they've been you have a full personal story from Polly and the moderators.

Greetings

But now you surprise me.

It's time for a little bet. :rotf:
Yes, I still believe in a brood here, but let me look at my work schedule - no, that doesn't fit. I would like to be there. :dunno:

'26 again a mating intention but seems H21 declines.

March 23

Good morning everyone! :hi:

07:27 clear, bright call. Possibly H44?

Then nothing (or I missed it).

The little ones are more awake!
11:00 The siskin slips into the nest, well camouflaged.
Image

11:08 and a blue tit collects little treasures for itself.
