Could have been 'Smiley' after all, if you compare the tailmarks with those of Feb 18.

Seems like a winter backslash here and on metsis, no owls or woodpeckers in the night or morning. -7-12°C and snowfall -brrr..

17:41: Faint eagle calls.
17:45: Again: longer, agitated, clearly two voices.
17:47: Cam says good-bye - back at 17:48,
18:22: Short calls (male).

Good morning Matsalu, good morning eagles!
08:48: E 340 comes in from the left with a branch. NB: A BRANCH, not a twig.
08:48:56: 'Smiley' perches on the p-branch.
08:50: She joins him in the nest bowl.
08:53: The picture speaks for itself

I rely on the YT-chat for time stamps, thank you so much, there is so much I have to review!
09:14: E 340 flies off and
09:16: ... returns with a twig.
While they are exchanging some eagle kisses, another WTE calls, very high-pitched. It's 'our baby', a juvenile that perches on the middle branches.
09:20:59: Another eagle calls fom further away.
09:21: The juvenile hops to another branch.
09:24: The juvenile flies away.
9:26: E 340 makes bed.

09:27: 'Smiley' flies away.
09:28 ff.: Eagle voices from afar. The first sounds female to me (?), the second answering voice male (?).
09:29: E 340 flies away. Dives down and off to the left.
09:30 f.: A lot of eagle calls.
- What a Sunday so far! The nest owners on the nest, bringing branch and twig, mating, plus at least two other eagles in the area, visible: a juvenile on the nest tree (no trouble for E 340 and 'Smiley') and audible: at least one other WTE somewhere in the area (maybe this one had to be 'disciplined' around 09:30 ...).

"liznm BTW: the eagle we heard was a black woodpecker all time! sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between eagle and black woodpecker call. "
Thank you Liz! I really have to refresh my bird voice memory. (for example right here: https://xeno-canto.org/species/Dryocopus-martius )

16:53: Faint eagle calls, two voices.
16:55: The eagles have landed - on the p-branch. Now the fun begins.(Edit: Wishful thinking ...)
They came from the left, with loud calls.
'Smiley' is closer to the nest, E 340 on the outer p-branch.
17:01/02: 'Smiley' leaves.
17:03: E 340 follows and flies off to the right.

Good morning everyone at Matsalu!
First visitor in the nest tree, big thank you to Yana re, YT-chat, for the time stamp , at 06:03:30. Yana re thinks it might be a Northern Goshawk, he flies in from the left and perches on the left of the middle branches, you can only see his tail. - Terrible screen shot, sufficient for documentation (...).

Susanne, it is rather not a hawk. At least the shape doesn't fit. The bird has a very short tail. buzzard

Tere hommikust Matsalu and everyone!
7:57: E 340 arrives at the nest with a nice bundle of hay and spreads it over the last remains of snow and ice in the bowl.
08:05: He leaves, after turning several times on the p-branch - it's quite windy today.

09:42: E 340 arrives on the nest. They poke a little in the bowl.
09:46:03: E 340 begins to sing - mating!
09:59 ff.: They seem quite relaxed. 'Smiley' is standing in the nest bowl and preening, E 340 perches on the p-branch, preening as well.

'Smiley' lies down in the nest bowl; both watch the area, looking mainly to the left; whatever kind of disturbance - they seem to expect it coming from that direction.
10:18: E 340 leaves the p-branch and circles down to the meadow where he lands beneath the birches - retrieving more material .
10:21: E 340 comes back with hay which he collected on the meadow.
Now it's his turn to snuggle in the nest bowl.
10:30: She dives down from the nest rim close to the camera.
10:33: She comes back with a branch.
10:34: They get long necks and start to call. There must be another WTE soaring in their territory.
10:37: E 340 has moved to the p-branch. And flies off at 10:37:44, 'Smiley' follows shortly after.
