So, it looks as if the birds will nest here. Or am I wrong?
Why is there no scroll back on the live stream?

there are many breaks in the transmission. So there is no change for scrolling back. I hope it will be better soon.

06:30:36 - Helju arrives from the left, farside of nest, her back to the bog. A conifer spray is held in her beak.
She arranges her addition, and rests in the center of her nest.

Image

06:35:33 - Up to the curved branch. Left wing preen. Scanning about.
06:38:09 - She leaves bogward, angling down and left. An eight minute visit.

Helju returns with another conifer spray clutched in both beak, and talons! She releases it from her mouth before alighting on the left branching bough. "Skawk, wawk, wawk," says she.

Image

09:53:45 - Hops to curved branch.
09:53:50 - Then into nest, where she arranges, lies. . .
09:58:42 - Stands observing for a while; couple crop drops, some preening.
10:10:01 - Turns to lie down again. Egg thoughts, dear Helju?

A Eurasian jay (Garrulus glandarius) stops by. Helju gives jay a little piece of her mind. Her vocalizations are not too harsh, however. We can hear there is an exchange in both directions.

Image

10:43:20 - Helju hops up to the curved branch. She preens.
10:56:04 - She leaves towards the bog, arcing right. 44 minute visit.

Ooooh, I so wish we only could understand 'Birdish', it would have been so interesting to hear how these two were making their statements

Ravens, thank you for this snapshot and reports

Good evening!
In Latvian forum I saw the screenshot from 2023-04-04 09:09:51 eagle (Heliju) visit, where clearly can be seen the left leg ring colour.
The ring on the left leg is silver over black, meaning that the bird was ringed in 2015. The ring on the right leg is absent/or deep under the feathers, I would say there's no ring at all…
So the female is in her 9 CY.
Now it would be great to read some numbers, then her origin would be clear. :)
