Once again, a quiet afternoon -a little preening and position shifting and incubation.

17:36 Anna has a pine sprig in beak for a while.

19:54 Anna is drowsy and no surprise she snuggles into her back feathers a few minutes later. And so it went to dusk.

Food is thin so far and always in the morning. The days ahead need much better but time will tell.

7:30 Still no Andris till now. No wonder, here were I live are 4 degree! (Baltic coast! in some places we have 0 degrees )
but the weather will improve soon! Mice reproduce well only in warm and dry weather. Frogs also need some warmth to be active.

Now, THAT might just be the problem. This male LOVES incubation, so perhaps he just looks for big stuff so Anna flies away and he gets quality time with his "precious" pair.
