She stretches to see better.

Image

Luckily, it's nothing that worries her. She covers the eggs again and continues to incubate.

The eggs are 27, 24, 22 and 20 days old today.

Image

It has hardly rained and the eggs are still nice and white.

E-mail from Urmas. Swenja, you are mentioned.
Btw, do you see e-mail of Swenja? wanted to inform her that started additional feeding of Kaia-Karl II. Sometimes it could help to understand the behaviour on nest.

Today morning photo of Kaia from trail cam is enclosed. We restored that place seven years ago with volunteers (second image).

Thank you @Jo UK and Urmas!

The volunteers did a very good job. Thanks to every volunteer.
Nice to see that Kaia familiarized herself with this place. Is there already a way for users and friends of the live camera to support the offer of the feed? You can generally support Kotkaklubi. But maybe there are people who only want to support black storks.

I am pleased that a successful season has now given the best condition.
Thanks again!

:hi: Hello to all and big thanks to Swenja and Jo for the good news. :loveshower:
I am convinced: Kaia has already whispered it to the little ones through the eggshell.

And, Swenja, once again thumbs up for the picture (15:47:57) :rotf: :rotf:

Karl II sits with his beak open and breathing rapidly.
I should think he had a good supper and needs to catch his breath.

He stands up, loosens the nest floor and nesting material.

In the photo of Kaia from this morning at the fish basket you can see the low water level.
Unfortunately, the weather forecast still does not see any significant rain.

Good morning!

It seems to have been a quiet night.

Karl II is looking around. A black stork to the right.
Karl II stands up and is clattering with his beak. Defense!
