12:21 he is resting. he might have had a rough night -a bachelor party? :mrgreen: at least he already considers this nest a safe place to rest

15:54 camera zoomed out.. nothing to see is preening himself and then he shakes his plumage.

:wave: Hello,
and thanks for all the updates and pictures!

Among other things, based on last years, I still have the feeling that this Jögeva's nest is not very safe for our storks. But of course I hope that our Jan2 would manage there anyway, and find some sweet Janika2 for himself.

the nest remained empty overnight . It could be, that he is sleeping in a tree nearby.

This male will come to this nest sometimes but if he doesn't find a pair in the nearest time, he will eventually leave the nest.

5:45 he stands up and sings, attaches the branches to the edge of the nest, stretches his legs and wings, and sings again
6:03 sings, is poking in the nest bowl and settles down
6:08 stands up and settles down again
6:38 is preening himself

Hi everyone!

10:14 male has arrived. He sings

11:12 he is still here
11:13 he sings
11:31 he is still in the nest

I will do detailed documentation later. Unless someone else is nice enough to do it.
Now I'm away for a few hours
