In heavy wind and rain Baron came to the nest from 18.41 until 18.56

NOV. 19.

Baron on a short visit under windy conditions. As we have seen it earlier.
A fertile female is needed in the territory.

Baron Blue and a Female with low voice visited the nest. Baron in the nest. New female at Bouncing Branch.

he flew off with his fish, followed by the female. Then he returned, the female too and so he flew off again

It reminds me of an episode with Baron and Baroness. It was too early, even at this time! It was snow. So he fought for his fish.
BTW: I still miss Baroness!

HAPPY NEW YEAR --- 2022

JAN. 6.

We had 2 flyby and vocals this afternoon at 15:02:19 and 15:02:59.
In fact both eagles are behind the nest on cam 4 (second video). One landed just after the flyby. The 2nd one missed the landing and did a U-turn to land close to the first Eagle. Vocals followed. Duet started by Baron. The Eagles stayed over night on LB.


Jan. 7.

08.11 Both baron and new female went to the nest for a little while - then New Female went to bouncy branch and a bit later baron flew to left trees.
08.55 Morning duet startet by Baron on LB. NF on BB joins in.
08.59 Both out to the right.
09.17 Baron calls from far.

09.11 NF left followed by Baron as a strange eagle was flying over. 20 sec. later we heard the duet/alarm/song (?)

15.42 NF into the nest. It tries to find shelter from the storm on the branches just behind the nest. Without succes.
16.00 Baron out the left.
16.01 NF out to the left.
