It is a sad sight this dead animal; looks too small to be a moose, maybe a wolf or dog? The birds were able to turn it on its other side....

Edit: O, I just read it is a deer! Thanks!

macdoum I am pretty sure it is a buzzard (funny to my parents -- especially my father from farming area of Indiana a buzzard is a vulture.)

Good Morning
Wednesday 3 March

by 7:11 there is a buzzard at the carcass eating. Earlier there were ravens.

Hello!
Mutikluti got on the picture adult Golden Eagle! This bird was in Nigula rehabilitation centre and now released on the feeding ground - here is plenty of food to survive colder times. Although the eagle flew very well and probably left ten minutes ago from the feeding ground and might not come back. This adult female was found five days ago about 10 km from the feeding ground and she is also ringed already in 1990 in North-east Estonia - she is 20 years old!
I am here in the hide now. Adult WTE flew over

Actually we don´t know - bird was cannot able to fly when local hunters found her. In Nigula several analysis were made and all was well - also no damage outside or stretching. She was just unactive but now after some recovering she is much better and last two days also more agressive (that is good sign!).
She left from the feeding ground today but will see if she returns some day.
