I am not Felis, but I am also interested in that thread. Yesterday I took some pictures of the flowers that opened the blossoms over night. It is so great, what happens in the nature...

Bleggi I sent you a pm -- we would love to have your participation.

Everybody -- there is a Seasons Forum where we can post images and comments about how our year is progressing and it would be lovely to have more participants.

And to Kitty my best wishes and lots of strength. I lost my father last summer, I know what it feels like to worry and hope!

Have a good day everybody!
Thank you, Felis silvestris. You identified the feelings perfectly. All I can do is worry & hope.

hello! :hi:
i recorded a short clip in the morning but didn't have time to post it earlier. there is at least one male chaffinch in the foreground and some are singing in the forest. there's also another bird singing near the camera. i think it is a jay. the song is quite different than the one i recorded at the eagles' nest yesterday (it's here: viewtopic.php?p=95896#p95896)
but still i think it is a jay. correct me if i'm wrong!

There is one raven in the middle ground -- munching on something. (and I think I heard a buzzard)

Image

More Ravens arrived and the one was calling and calling -- it is faced away from us.

This afternoon I heard that when ravens find meat (like at the eagle feeding ground) they can haul off 2-4 pounds in a day (almost 2 kilos) and hide it in forks in trees. I guess that explains how the meat left for the eagles disappeared so fast.

Many birds arrived but they are almost invisible.

I thought it might be easier to see the birds with two images -- for comparison.

It is raining and the thick drops make a "plink-plonk" noise on the camera - and the feeding ground is going to be a boar-perfect slippery muddy ground 8-)
