The last picture says that the boars are staying now on other places. Let us be thankful that we had some more evenings and nights to see them. Perhaps we will meet some of them next wintertime - :hi:
All the best wishes also for the people who is living here like Silvi and Peep  .

 Bye-Bye, piggies! You were lots of fun, especially when you were rolling in the "spa mud.". Have a good summer. And thank you to Peep & Silvi who fed them & sat with them, & to all others who were helping with food & making sure the cam ran well. :loveshower:

It's in the middle of August and still many months until the pig-cams will open again
Is it possible to visit this place in the winter to see the pigs live?

I think they placed an observation hide at the site of forest cam 1 and that there are some chances for observation.

I think that at this place there are no boars at the moment. The last summer and autumn brought very much food for them from different trees and when there is no snow which protect the food the boars are not coming out of the wood (in our region in Germany it is the same). Food is expensive and so Peep will wait how the weather is proceeding.
Let us watch what will happen.

At the moment it does not look good!
Jo UK wrote: I enquired about this 2-3 weeks ago. The reply from webmaster suggested that it is unlikely that we shall see that webcam again soon. The set-up requires a lot of new equipment, not just the camera, but encoder, cables, things like that. Not to mention a power supply and an internet connection!
