April 10th
good morning!

there was someone sitting by the nest. it did some quietish meows a few time and i made a short recording and took some pictures. i didn't notice it properly before it was nearly too late, that is when it left! :slap:
here it is, right on the right side on the upper branch so that the tip of the wing is visible.

great that you're watching, too, Kitty. :hi:
i don't have proper time to post anything yet but i've pushed the buttons on and off as i've walked by... later today i'll have some time to post something.

it seems that they are serious: they are bringing twigs to the nest. and they seem to know this Finnish proverb: "it's not necessary to go fishing further than to the sea.": they collected twigs from the ends of the branches in the nest tree.
they were hanging there in the tips of twigs upside down like tits. these were taken at 9.31.

now they seem to be having a longer break. they left at about 9.50 and meowed to each other as they flew away.

Yes, I think they are very serioius. I laugh when I see them down in the deep nest bowl. I think, "Any chicks will have to learn how to fly just to get up to the rim of that nest!" :chick:

Now I think I am really done with cams for now. I just checked the other nests, & no one is at the Koit/Eha nest, nor at the Tuuli/Remo nest. I can escape to my bed! :rotf: Goodnight / Good day!

Edit: the nest tree is swaying so much in the strong wind, I get seasick from watching :faint: :rotf:

the buzzard was in the nest at 14.15

...and again at 15.03 (i had a pause so i don't know it was here in between.)

i know what you mean, Felis! but i can also tell you it's much better than in 2009. then the camera was attached to a different trunk on the left of the nest trunk. i don't if it is a completely different tree. it's the one where Urmas climbed to take picture of Renno ringing Teele and Timmu in 2010.
now the camera is attached to a branch which is next to the nest and it is swaying together with the nest in same pace. in the old place the nest might be going to the left and the camera to the right. that was awful!
i'll fetch an old picture to show what it was like... here have a look at this:
viewtopic.php?p=43461#p43461 and Mutikluti's picture below it. and on the next page:
viewtopic.php?p=43538#p43538
and earlier: viewtopic.php?p=41674#p41674
in summer 2009 seems to have been stormy and July 9th 2009 was a very windy day. if you wish to confuse you head here's a link to the Pontu pictures taken on July 9th 2009: http://www.mejuba.com/albums/anmaelo/48254

Thank you Ame for showing the pictures how it was - I think I prefer to have it at the same time as the nest
