Griffon Vulture Webcam in Portugal
As there is no webcam on a Black Stork nest in Portugal this year, we can view a Griffon Vulture nest instead.

I am looking at the live stream now. It is night, of course, but it must be moonlight. I see the moving silhouette of a vulture. (But I was quite sure it was a stork, at first)
But IT IS a STORK!
Long beak. Long legs. I will try to get a pic -

Congratulations from Northern Europe! I saw as the other parent came, and the first one left. How carefully the parent stepped on the nest, and looked head down behind the corner. There the chick is!!

It was touching to see the chick head moving there for the first time. I think he/she was lively and interested on what there might be for him/her to eat..
I looked the European weather map, there seemed to be about +17 C today in Portugal. Let's hope that the night is not cold and everything goes on well! Parent's belly is warm enough in any case!

Not as warm as you mention but not cold: during the day it can be quite warm.
But it's raining a lot :(

The chick is seemingly bigger today than yesterday! But so small, tiny it still is.
I found a link where one can watch from video the birth of this Griffon Vulture:
Já nasceu a cria de grifo nas Portas de Ródão ..
The offspring of a grifo is born in Portas de Rodao, 28th March 2011, at 16:58

I see there is direct link to the nest, too. The chick was alone for a moment. But soon the other parent appeared with some stuff on beak.
