Very sad news from Captiva: two days ago Lusa got her foot injured and died at 3.22.50 a.m.
Maybe if she was taken away from the nest it would be possible to save her.

Has anything happened to Audacity's second egg? Now the eggs are incubating and hidden but two days ago I clearly saw two eggs in the nest.

asteria,
shortly after egg #1 was laid on Febr 02 the cam was down until yesterday. I assume you probably didn't see the 2 eggs "live", but in the "Highlights" (streaming from previous years) that appear while the cam is offline.
Since the cam was offline, there is a purely mathematical possibility that Audacity has laid more eggs - she usually lays three as we know. Since there is only 1 egg since the cam started streaming live again only yesterday, there is no way to know whether more eggs may have been laid and possibly broken and if so, which egg (#?) it is what we are seeing in the nest now.
right now, at 06.16 Audacity got up and we have full zoomed view on 1 precious egg.
So let's keep our fingers crossed for Audacity and Jak that at least this egg stays intact and will hatch. They deserve it so much after all the broken eggs from previous seasons.
