Shift change, just before 6 pm. Beautiful sunset. No signs of hatching yet.
(According to some reports, faint chirping was heard the previous night.)

According to the streaming website, the second eaglet hatched at night 9/10 December. Was named TICO. But it is almost impossible to see the little ones.

Female and a still alive squirrel. :shock: The squirrel is fighting. I love squirrels. I know that American eagles catch squirrels very often. But brought still alive to the nest, I've never seen that before.
