Arx2012 - your video of the Grey-headed Woodpecker is very nice, with the beautiful blue sky and white snow as a background. Looks like a cold day? Thank you

Hello Arx2012 ,
welcome .
It's a nice video of the grey-headed woodpecker.
It's funny to see when piece of butter fell down and woodpecker looks a little bit confused .

I can't understand, why the admins of this birdfeeder don't change something, so pigeons could not sit there as easily, as they do it now.
I don't believe that it is so hard to change it, at least you could remove this thing they are sitting on - other birds don't need it.
I don't think, that pigeon feeding is something that is useful for nature or interesting for those who watch this webcam.
Last year you could see some pigeons, but the variety of other birds was just wonderful. It was great also in educational purposes to watch it.
And now???
all the other birds are just afraid to take the food, cause pigeons are allways there.
So what is the purpose of this birdfeeder then?

In 2010 when fatballs were given, there were more birds and fewer pigeons indeed.

No idea why they don't hang fatballs anymore.

The traces of blood. What happened here? Could some birds of prey visit the feeder and attack small birds or even pigeons?

There was a fight, possibly pigeons have not divided a feeding trough, and the day before I observed as pigeons severely fought
