I liked to put this pics here this morning but then suddenly had to leave. For that i show them now. On the first pic the pigeons were eating very peaceful. I dont know what then happened.
On the next pic we see blood on the wall.

Blood appeared yesterday, now the same pigeons(brown and grey) are peacefully eating.
Upd: The brown one left and the second grey pigeon replaced him.

I have seen the pigeons fight viciously sometimes, but I did not know they could actually draw blood!!venegor wrote:There was a fight, possibly pigeons have not divided a feeding trough, and the day before I observed as pigeons severely fought

Visitors this morning. There were pigeons earlier, so I see now the food supply is low.

I observed, when on a balcony one pigeon has killed other pigeon. The first a beak has broken a head to the second both has torn apart to it a breast and has dumped the dead opponent from a balcony on the earth. Than so severe fight has been caused? Possibly struggle for territory for a nest on a balcony

I watched the pigeons yesterday, but had to leave suddenly and did not return to this computer. The pigeons were eating very peaceful and only correcting their sitting there.

I have never seen anything so terrible. I have seen Scrub Jays (the common Jay here) get into terrible fights and fall to the ground, but in the case I have seen they both lived. My father is sure that he sees Hummingbirds trying to kill one another. He thinks the stronger tries to fly the weaker into a wall or a window.venegor wrote:Ktty

Yes, since watching them here, I have seen them get really vicious toward each other. It changes my view of pigeons. I always thought they were gentle & rather stupid. But now I see they are quite greedy & very competitive & aggressive toward each other.venegor wrote:Ktty

I watched a pigeon-war this morning and was wondering that there is not blood to see on the wall again. It was always the same pigeon who fighted against the other ones - to the left, to the right and I don't know what more she did. From both sides they came - trying to get a bit food, but "no - its only for meeeee..."
