I do understand why their fur was very popular once upon a time!

They look really cuddly like that!

Thank you, everyone, for such nice pictures of the beautiful raccoon dog pair. This must be the healthy pair I filmed the other day. I am just peeking :peek: for a minute here as I am very tired & will go to bed tonight rather than watching cams. So enjoy the lovely scenery at the cams today. It looks like a very nice day there in Estonia. I am :offtobed: .

BTW, it seems there is no sound for the nova cam today?

I don't have sound, but earlier I had nothing and now I have a picture -- so there is progress. :headroll:

yes, still on but not for long. the news is on the front page: camera will be closed.

i took one more video. there's on raven digging at the carcass on the right bank and a great tit singing, but otherwise it's only wind and sun in the forest. i think it is time for good-bye now! it was a great season, so it's not sad to finish after that.

the camera is still being broadcast. you can find it on the Eenet.ee main page here: http://www.eenet.ee/EENet/
(but i guess that tomorrow latest Renno will go to the feeding place and take the camera off the tree and then the link will also disappear from the Eenet-page. or the other way round....)

i began to feel withdrawal symptoms as there seemed to become a serious shortage of live nature cameras, with no eagle nesting in sight and so... but then i noticed on the LK-mainpage that there's something new: a starling's nestbox camera! :loveshower:

it's on the left column under the Soomaa camera annoncent, right next to the winter eagle picture. this is the link: http://looduskalendriblog.blogspot.com/
there on the right side is "Pesakastikaamera otsepilt".
.... the box is still empty...

The follower to the Kohtla-Järve students' great tit camera, I think.

Withdrawal symtoms: an eagle owl on her chicks, nest box provided but otherwise "natural nature" http://www.freasp.com/uv/
Or as natural as you can get in the old Falun, Sweden, copper mine site.
