Thank you to all who made it possible to watch the cam. There are many wonderful pictures and videos. I was watching and laughing very often when I saw the ravens and others with or without the eagles. But I also was sad when I saw how the poor eagles were disturbed by the birds. And never I saw a raccoon as near as on this place. The cam was absolutely great and especially the person who worked with the cam.
 Bye for now and I would be glad to meet the cam the next period again.
Yours, Bleggi :hi:

it's quiet there, only the wind blows in the treetops.... it seems to be snowing lightly, sleet probably...

this is peculiar: the camera is still on but at this hour the picture is pitch black of course. i don't hear a thing... i think it's mute, it's not only low in volume.

maybe the weather has been too bad for Renno to take the camera away... :puzzled:

...or he is busy with eagles/ospreys elsewhere :puzzled: ( many cams promised for spring, maybe ? http://www.looduskalender.ee/en/node/11848 or did I misunderstand :puzzled: )

Beginning next spring the nest life of Estonian and Latvian ospreys and white-tailed eagles can be followed in web camera.

Cam is on. It's dark but I can tell the sky is beginning to lighten up because I can make out the form of trees against it. It sounds very windy.

Sounds like my neighbour's children trampling above me, yes.
Quite windy in Stockholm too for a few hours, but calm inland at Hornborgasjön: check the cranes' tail feathers.
Several 100 cranes there already - 18 500 is record number, from 2009 - but "our" crane Ahja2 on Birdmap is still in the wintering place.

There was some Labrador tea (certain) and bog myrtle (educated guess) growing at the WTE feeding ground.
Juniper, spruce, pine of course, alder (just shrubs), bilberry, reeds, some kind of Carex, birch, willow of some kind.
More, anyone?

 Bog myrtle "Helpful for enhancing lucid dreaming and astral work generally"

Good morning / Good afternoon! I had insomnia & couldn't sleep, so I got up early (very) & decided to watch the cams.

:loveshower: Nova is a lake, but still beautiful. The raven sounds a bit mournful about the changes.

Well, yes, welcome back, Lake Nova - it was a lake to start with, actually "a relict lake" as we learnt early in January ... :innocent:
