I think the batteries are over, not the cam. This cam will be over when wild pig cam is opened.

Hello airras and welcome to the forum! I fear the season of this camera is more or less finished for this year. If at all, the camera starts working only for a short time during day and does not collect enough energy to work once it has become dark! It is a bit sad, but the bears will have gone for their hibernation in any case. If you wait, we will hopefully have the camera on the wild boar feeding ground, and this is going on also over night with lights.

Airras, welcome to the forum .
I think the season on Alutaguse is over soon . But maybe in spring we can watch this cam again .
Now I'm ready for the boar-winter-cam . Perhaps the cam will start soon???

Hello airras
Also a friendly welcome from me to you here in the forum!
There is none of my evenings passing without thinking of the boar cam and wishing it would be online soon *sigh*
But maybe we still have to wait - the ground isn´t frozen yet in Estonia and as far as I remeber they won´t begin to feed the boars before that ....

I have a question, are completely wild boars? or mixed with pork are common animals? Here in Catalonia we have problems with these animals, are very close to the people and peoples, are a real pest.

airras -- maybe we will get a real answer, but as far as I know these boars really are wild boars. I believe they are making more trouble for people as people take more land and grow more corn, which even wild boars love.
There have been stories from the US about semi-wild boar pigs getting loose and being killed. The inspectors even threatened to kill any "boar" pigs farmers might have. So this issue was not just about feral pigs, but about pigs with European wild boar heritage. But mostly in the US our problem is just with feral domestic pigs.
