I just checked Markus´ vita at the birdmap, he was equipped with a transmitter in 2015, so my big hope is that his transmitter stopped working after meanwhile 8 years now and that he is doing well and on his way home to Estonia, as in the years before.

Perhaps there will be a nest control this season, to find out whether Markus returned to his nest or not, that would be great to know.

The other possibility would only be the death of Markus. Because (I follow it several times a day) no sign at all is almost unthinkable!

Markus' moves are sensational. I would have liked to have looked into his nest for a season. I think Markus is similarly stunning as Teo...without ever seeing him.
