Grey Seal Webcam on Vilsandi, Estonia 2013
An old favourite of many members, this webcam on an island West of Estonia's mainland is online again.
WE have seen it many times in the past, but when it was finally vandalised by a fox or wild boar which chewed through cables, it was no longer possible to maintain the connection and power supply to keep it online.
Someone must have done some amazing work, because here it is again - working well at the moment.
Let us hope that a guardian angel of webcams keeps a close watch on this one. More information will be posted here, as it becomes available.

No, no wishful thinking, I saw them too!

I saw two-no three.
It's adifferent view this time. The camera has been sited somewhere differently. I hope we get news of it soon.
Getting to the island, finding and connecting a power supply and then the camera - that must be an interesting story by itself!

The sea is so different here than it is in Käsmu (though I love Käsmu very much by now too). I saw Vilsandi national Park the other day on TV, the cam is somewhere in that National Park I think.

I heard a faint seal song a few minutes ago, too. Quiet - distant. It;s good to have them back with us.
