Hello to all :hi:

Remember how many interested birds we noticed during the time Klaara was in the nestbox - and later, when Artur and Paul were here alone .... Starlings, Great Tits .... wasn´t there a Woodpecker, too???

I guess that there were some nosy visitors who had a look into the nestbox meanwhile, now that it is empty .... :whistling:

Last night I watched a bear camera and about midnight switched to the owl camera. Klaara’s voice was clearly heard, so I started to listen. And suddenly I heard the voice of Arthur, his characteristic scream. I am absolutely positive that was his voice. At 1:30 he was so close to the nest, that I began to look at the screen. But, unfortunately, he did not show up in a hollow and soon flew away. I listened to 02:00 (a new type of nature activity: birdlistening). So it means the owl family is still around.
quote="Jo UK"]Renno has been to look for our owls and owlets today. He has sent two pictures. Renno said that he saw Klaara and Klaus, but not the two young ones - though they are certainly there. The difficulty in seeing them is that they are small, and broad-leaved trees hide them well.

Renno will look for them again, soon.

[quote]
I wonder if Reno was able to visit this area and took some pictures?
Greetings to all.

Our Kotkaklubi Eaglemen are travelling through Estonia, it is the time for monitoring the White tailed Eagles nests, ringing the young ones .... after that the same with Black Storks, Ospreys, Spotted Eagles ....

But we are sure that Renno will send photos when he had the possibility to search for the owlets and take pics.
Perhaps we are lucky and he is near to the place one day.

Ah okay, I didn´t know that. So it is clear, why we have to wait..and - certainly - I would be very happy about a picture, but if not, it is also okay...

A nuthatch, I think?
For those who miss our dear Paul and Artur, I can advise another owl webcam: http://owlsmatter.com/blog/barn-owl/ (I came across it in Camera Links in this Forum)

Fleur, thank you for your video!
I have accidentally visited webcam today at about the same time - 23.40. A bird was dimly visible in the darkness on roof of the hollow, stamping from time to time . I'm pretty sure it's an owl, but but I coudn't make a convincing screenshot. The bird is still sitting there, but it is completely dark now.
